History of Sotherby Homes

Sotherby Homes is an affiliation of Shaddock Companies. The company was started by Peter H. Shaddock in 1967 as Shaddock Homes focusing only in homebuilding. In the 1980's, he created the Shaddock Companies made up of two divisions. One is the home building division and the other is the residential development and land investment division. In 1984, Peter's brother William C. Shaddock entered the company and was assigned to manage the residential development and land investement division.

Now, Shaddock Companies has two home building departments, the Sotherby Homes and Shaddock Homes. The residentional development division is under the Shaddock Development Company. New inclusion to the Shaddock Companies are the Shaddock Investments and Willow Bend Mortgage. All of these parts are owned and run by the Shaddock Family.

Through the years, Sotherby Homes has continuously flourished in the home building business and became one of the successful member of Shaddocks Companies. Sotherby Homes is now one of the best homebuilders in the Dallas Fort Worth area. It has recieved numerous awards in the business and patronized and trusted by its costumers.
